Christina is dedicated to building a business on the foundation of integrity, environmental and social responsibility. As part of this commitment she donates a portion of all sale proceeds to local and international causes.
CAUSE Canada is an international relief and development agency working in West Africa and Central America. Their development priorities include: Health Care, Water and Sanitation, Education and Micro-enterprise Projects.
Between May 2012 – July 2013 Christina took time away from real estate to focus her attention on poverty alleviation through working with CAUSE Canada as the Director of Development. Along with other projects, she helped design the CAUSE Kids website which allows for crowdfunding, child sponsorship and online fundraising. Here is how it works.
The United Way of Greater Victoria is a community organization committed to making Victoria a better place for everyone to live. They focus on 3 key impact areas including: Family and Community Well-being, Housing for Homeless, Low Income and Working Poor, and Mental Health and Addictions.
Christina has served as a representative from the real estate industry on a community board with the United Way, and has helped organize Pemberton Holme’s yearly campaign.
